Careers in Criminal Law

Students

Boggs Levin is a growing Criminal Defence Law Firm.  We try to hire from within.
If you would like a career in a criminal defence firm and are studying law, we do take summer students, if you can demonstrate an interest in criminal law.  We do not take summer students every year but we do accept them as the need arises.

Students who have had summer positions with the firm will be considered for articling positions. 

If you are looking for an articling position and want a career in criminal defence, we will gladly accept your application.  We would like a cover letter indicating your interest in criminal law, references and transcripts and resume.

Lawyers

We will confidentially accept an application or inquiry.

Support Staff

Good support staff are vital to a law firm. From time to time we have openings for receptionists, secretaries and legal assistants.

Our fees are based on the type of case that you have. Having done thousands of cases, we know how long yours is likely to take and how much it will cost.

We will ask you a number of questions to determine the nature and complexity of your case and we will give you a quote, for a Superior Court matter or for a Court of Justice matter. We will put the block fee in writing before you sign your retainer agreement.

You won't have to guess at the costs. We can work out a payment plan. You can pay by Visa, MasterCard, Debit Card, Bank draft, Money Order or Cash, you will get a receipt.
